What Is the Cost of Joy? Of Hope? Of Connection?

The Heart of the Idea
Love. Gratitude. Encouragement. Remembrance. We can feel so much and still struggle to put it on paper.
That’s where poets and writers can help. By listening to a person’s story, they can give shape to what matters most—turning feelings into a poem that is personal, heartfelt, and theirs to share.
Poems for Patriots is preparing to bring that connection to military service members, veterans, and their families.
Our Founding Mission
To bring joy, inspire hope, and strengthen meaningful connections among military service members, veterans, and their families through the power of personalized poetry.
Through the generosity of individuals, businesses, and communities, we make heartfelt expressions of love, encouragement, gratitude, and remembrance accessible to those who serve and those who stand beside them, while supporting the poets who bring their stories to life.
